Morrison completed its scope of work for GE Renewables US, delivering Vertical Tower Storage frames to New Bedford, Massachusetts, to support the Vineyard Wind 1 Project.
Morrison’s scope of work entailed:
- Manufacture, testing, certification and delivery of multiple Vertical Tower Storage Frames. The frames are designed to transport and store the HALIADE-X tower sections for Vineyard Wind 1.
- Morrison utilized a number of its facilities to meet project demands, including Morrison’s fabrication facility in Alvarado, Mexico.
The Vineyard Wind project, a milestone in renewable energy, is creating an entirely new era in how consumers get their power.
Morrison is proud to contribute to the first commercial offshore wind farm in the United States as a fabricator of vertical tower stands.
