JACKET, PILE AND BRIDGE LANDING FABRICATION

Trinidad, West Indies

TOFCO completed work for the BPTT Cassia Compression (Cassia C) offshore platform at its facility in La Brea, Trinidad.

With an overall tonnage of 5,507 tons, this was an historical project as it is the HEAVIEST JACKET and the HEAVIEST and LONGEST PILES to be fabricated and built in Trinidad.

The Cassia Compression project will enable BPTT to access and produce low-pressure gas resources from currently-producing fields in the Greater Cassia area, maximizing recovery from these existing resources.  Located 57 km (35 mi) offshore south-east of Trinidad, the Cassia C platform will have a throughput capacity of 1.2 bcf/d.

We've had a long partnership with TOFCO. One that I'm proud of and one that I think everyone should be proud of. We have already built 6 of our 15 offshore facilities here in TOFCO. Cassia compression represents the 7th of those.
